We had never embarked on such a large project before. From the start NPB seemed to grasp what we wanted, what was possible and how to achieve it. Their own team were efficient and professional, their wide network of sub-specialists impressive. The building we ended up with exceeded our expectations in terms of quality and creative flair. Mr Pitcher always seemed as interested in the project as we did. Despite the building requiring some unconventional methods NPB were always able to call on the appropriate expertise.
Communication was first rate. We are "hands on" customers and would consider ourselves difficult to please but they pulled off the trick of letting us believe we really owned the project while quietly getting on with all the work. The few inevitable problems there were have been put right without hesitation. We don't hesitate to recommend NPB and would use them again.

When we embarked on our project, we worked closely with English Heritage to maintain the essence and integrity of the Mill House, whilst making significant changes to add both internal and external space, and improve the flow of the house. Not an easy project, given the terrible access, lack of foundations and significant potential water issues (the Glaven runs under the house!) What impressed us most about James and his team at Pro-Build, was their diligence and unstinting attention to detail. Often faced with quite significant unforeseen challenges, Pro-Build never took the soft option, instead always insisting the high standard be maintained.
